These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Murcon Safety Solutions website at murconsafetysolutions.co.uk (the “Website”).
By using the Website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
These Terms cover use of the Website only. Health and safety consultancy, training and ongoing support are provided under a separate client agreement.

The Website is operated by Murcon Safety Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”). It was created and published by Howarth Web Design.

We may suspend or restrict access to the Website at any time, including for maintenance or security.
3. Information on the Website
The Website is provided for general information about our health and safety services. It is not a substitute for professional advice given in the context of your business.
We take care to keep the Website accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that all content is complete, current or error-free. You should not rely on Website content as the sole basis for a health and safety decision.
Nothing on the Website creates a consultant–client relationship, or an obligation on us to provide services, until we have agreed that in writing.

If you send us an enquiry through the contact form or by email, we will use the details you provide to respond. Submitting an enquiry does not oblige either of us to enter into a contract.
Any quote, proposal or scope of work we send afterwards is subject to its own terms.

5. Our services
Descriptions of services on the Website are a summary only. The actual work we carry out, fees, timescales and responsibilities will be set out in a client agreement, proposal or similar document.
We provide practical health and safety support. We do not guarantee that using our services will prevent accidents, enforcement action or other loss, or that a particular accreditation or audit outcome will be achieved.
6. Client portal
Ongoing clients may be given access to a secure client portal at portal.murconsafetysolutions.co.uk.
Portal access is personal to the client account we set up. You must keep login details confidential and tell us promptly if you think they have been misused. We may suspend access if we believe the portal is being used without authority or in breach of these Terms or your client agreement.
Documents in the portal are provided for your internal business use in connection with our services. Additional portal terms may apply.
7. Intellectual property
The Website and its content – including text, graphics, logos, layout and photographs – belong to us or our licensors. All rights are reserved.
You may view, download or print pages from the Website for your own internal business use. You must not copy, modify, distribute or use Website content for any other purpose without our written permission, except where the law allows it.
The Murcon Safety Solutions name and logo are our trade marks. You must not use them without our written permission.
8. Third-party websites
The Website may include links to other websites, including the client portal and Howarth Web Design. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. Following a link is at your own risk.
9. Liability
The Website is provided free of charge and on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we exclude all implied warranties, conditions and representations in relation to the Website
- we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website, including loss of profit, business, data or opportunity, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
If you are using the Website as a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Website, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows.
